In this year's government work report, the Zhuhai Municipal Government proposed to implement the "Industrial Pillar" action in depth, introduce major projects with the influence of leading enterprises in key areas such as New Energy, New Energy Storage, Integrated Circuits, Electronic Information, and accelerate the construction of the strategic fulcrum of Zhuhai's Trillion-level Modern Industrial System.
Bortron&Kortrong's New High-efficiency Energy Storage Industrial Park is a new high-efficiency energy storage industrial cluster project introduced by Zhuhai High-tech Zone last April. The construction of the project started the next day after the land was picked through bidding, refreshing the speed of "Start construction as soon as the land is taken" in the High-tech Zone.
The industrial park covers an area of nearly 38,000㎡, with a construction area of about 135,000 ㎡ and a total investment of 1.5-2 billion yuan. It is invested and constructed by Bortron Group, and introduces the energy storage industry cluster project of brother company Kortrong Group. It is understood that Kortrong Group is a high-tech enterprise engaged in technology research and development and equipment production of the entire industrial chain of intelligent energy storage systems, and is currently the only enterprise in China that independently researches and develops "full industrial chain energy storage products + automated production lines".
"Bortron will strive to build a demonstration base with the most complete energy storage industry chain and the most advanced technology in the High-tech Zone at home and abroad." According to Liu Liping, general manager of Zhuhai Bortron Group, the project construction is progressing smoothly, and the main body will be capped at the end of June this year. It can be completed and put into production. After reaching the production capacity, the output value is expected to reach 2.5 billion yuan in 2025, and strive to exceed 4.5 billion yuan in 2028.
